Within 15 miles of Brixham are the picturesque towns and villages of the South Hams, the wildness of Dartmoor and the rest of Torbay. Within the South Hams are the historic towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe and Totnes. Dartmoor is nationally renowned for its walking, climbing and wildlife. Torbay is more family orientated with numerous attractions in and around Paignton & Torquay such as Paignton Zoo, Cockington village, the Paignton to Dartmouth steam railway and Babbacombe model village.
